Neuroinclusion
Starting December 2024, join the neurodiversity movement by engaging with the world's first neuroinclusion podcast! Learn how to create cultures of neuroinclusion in workspaces, schools, communities, and homes, where all minds and bodies have the equitable opportunity to thrive. Your host, Pasha Marlowe (she/they), MFT, is the author of "Creating Cultures of Neuroinclusion" and a global neuroinclusion speaker. She collaborates with organizations and schools to teach inclusive language and design, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and how to reduce stigma about differences and disabilities. With her 32 years of experience as a therapist and coach for neurodivergent people and 54 years of lived experience as a multiply-neurodivergent person, Pasha brings much needed representation and integrity to the neuroinclusion conversation.

#22 "Low Functioning Society" with Mattia Mauree
Mattia Maurée (@audhdflourishing) is a disabled, non-binary, and trans AuDHD coach, hypnotherapist, writer, and composer. They discussed neuroqueering, intersectionality, depathologizing language, ableism, and PDA (rather than "pathological demand avoidance", many autistics have reclaimed this term as "persistent drive for autonomy").
We had a fascinating conversation about the harm of functioning labels for humans, and explored labeling societies as "high" or "low" functioning. Through our lens as neurodivergent and disabled entrepreneurs, we unpacked money, capitalism, psychological safety, somatic healing, and rest as resistance.
Follow Mattia @audhdflourishing and enjoy both of their podcasts,
"AuDHD Flourishing" and "The Longer Road"
